Bill Malloy

Bill Malloy leads Thirdpath’s technology efforts, in his role as the firm’s Fellow of AI and Machine Learning. He is the acting CTO and a member of Thirdpath’s GP Seeding and Stakes team, focusing on technology-enabled platforms, financial infrastructure, and long-duration private market strategies.

He is a co-founder of Sway Capital, where he led private market investments across growth equity, venture capital, and structured capital solutions. His investment experience includes board-level roles and investments in companies such as Uber, Twilio, Lyft, SendGrid, Addepar, Fetch Robotics, Affinity, and Zanbato. He began his investment career at Draper Fisher Jurvetson (DFJ) Zone Ventures and previously held product and business development roles at Listen.com (acquired by RealNetworks) and MusicMatch (acquired by Yahoo).

Bill holds an MBA from the University of Southern California, a B.S. in Chemical Engineering from Clemson University, and completed computer science coursework at Stanford University.
