Serina Yu

Serina Yu is a Senior Managing Director and Co-Head of Buyouts at Thirdpath, where she focuses on primary fund investments within the buyout strategy and serves on the Firm’s Investment Committee. Prior to Thirdpath, she spent 12 years at Carlyle AlpInvest as a senior member of the Primary Funds team, responsible for sourcing, evaluating, and monitoring venture, growth, and private equity fund commitments across North America. Over her career, she has evaluated thousands of private equity fund opportunities and held more than 30 Limited Partner Advisory Board seats.

She previously served as an Associate at GoldPoint Partners and began her career in the Mergers & Acquisitions Group at Deutsche Bank. Serina earned a B.S. in Economics, magna cum laude, from The Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania.
