Brey Jones
About
Brey Jones is a Managing Partner of Thirdpath and serves on the firm’s Management Committee and Investment Committee. As a key member of the Advisory Team, he focuses on private markets strategy, alternative asset structuring, and institutional portfolio execution.
He was one of the four founding employees of StepStone Group, where he helped build the firm’s private markets platform across private equity, venture capital, private credit, and real assets. Prior to StepStone, he was a Vice President at Pacific Corporate Group (PCG), one of the earliest and most respected private equity advisory firms, which oversaw more than $15 billion in private equity commitments at the time. Earlier in his career, he worked at Rochdale Securities, specializing in commission recapture and transition management for institutional clients.
Brey received his B.S. from the University of Arizona and has advised institutional investors in private markets since 2001.
