Sam Howard
About
Sam Howard is Vice President of Alternative Credit at Thirdpath, where he supports portfolio monitoring, reporting, and analytical initiatives across the firm’s private credit platform.
He brings over a decade of experience across venture, technology, and investment operations. Earlier in his career, he co-founded MiP.O.V. Technologies, an EvoNexus-backed startup, and conducted due diligence on early-stage technology and life sciences companies as part of Tech Coast Angels, one of the largest angel investment networks in the United States. He also supports clients including Sway Capital and HBCU Founders Fund, contributing to fund operations, data infrastructure, and portfolio monitoring across private markets strategies.
Sam holds a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Kentucky, where he was a wide receiver on the football team, and a Venture Capital Certificate from the University of California, Berkeley. He also serves on the Marketing Advisory Board at Point Loma Nazarene University.
